A new challenge

Since my CM consultant found herself a part time job, her workshop schedule has changed too.  Wednesday's meet has been changed to Thursdays and Book of Me workshops have been prosponed for some reason for the past month.

No more Saturday morning workshops continued but Friday night until late are still going at present time.  She had hosted one last night.  This time we were creating a weaved heart page.  If you know how to do paper weaving, you shouldn't have a problem with this challenge. But I will give you the basic instructions to do this if you are interested.

You need 12 of plain colour and 12 printed papers, cut into half inch wide and 6 inch long to create a 6 inch square.  Remember to use one strip and altered each row in an over and under technique.  Your strips should be the same pattern on top of the right colours.  It should look abit like a plaited pattern cross basket weave in the end.

Once your square is created, mounted the weaved square onto another sheet of cardstock, create a shape of your choice and cut.  Before you cut make sure your weaved square is properly mounted onto your cardstock.  Best to use strong glue or double side tape on every row to give a strong mount when you cut your shape.

Good luck and have fun!
